Negotiation Is an Executive Competency
Program participants will develop into highly effective negotiators who will provide your organization with tangible benefits. Your business will develop a negotiation strategy and an improved, structured, NegoEconomic(TM) approach to deal making so that the pie is made bigger and the parties have more to divide between them.
Participants will be able to evaluate the most effective approach to negotiation and leverage their bargaining equity to optimize the results for everyone involved. Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to prepare and lead a negotiation delegation capable of increasing the value hidden in the transaction and dividing the added value so that both parties feel fairly treated. These negotiators will learn how to use their power strategically and increase their ability to remain confident when the waters become turbulent and conflict must be managed.
The individual participant will acquire the ability to identify and tackle advanced negotiation situations and increase his or her understanding of the crucial phases of the negotiation process. They will understand the complexities of decision-making and the consequences of irrational behavior, and they will learn to interpret non-verbal communication, and the role global cultural differences have in negotiations.
They will also learn to establish equilibrium among the five dimensions of human behavior so that they can effectively advocate on behalf of the party they represent and understand their own self-interest as they develop negotiation proficiency.
